Hi Mike,

I think AA is a great game too. But, I also had a myiad of problems with AA on Linux. I am quickly coming to the conclusion that Linux is not for high level gaming. Maybe a little TuxRacer but not for games like HL2DM or America's Army. Too convoluted to get up and running. And when it is finally running, it always runs slower than Windows based. And, it is always hit or miss with the sound. So after installation, sound, and other problems with AA on Linux, I just went ahead and put it on Windows XP....everything ran great.

Do you have access to a Windows PC for gaming? If not, why not use partitions on your present PC and have both o/s?
