Xubuntu Wallpaper

I start to play with Gimp.
So this is the first result. I hope I get better. I will post this also on my new blog. Any comments are welcome. Dont be to harsh.:(

I think it looks great! I'm used to Photoshop, so anything this well done in GIMP amazes me. You may want to try adding some Layer Masks to the brushes and fading them into the background or something, it'd add a nice, smooth look. :)

It's nice, the blurs Jan recommended would be cool. Oh, Jan, I followed your link to fractalart.se (http://fractalart.se), that is some really cool stuff. I snatched like 20 of them for wallpapers.

Here comes a new ubunut wallpaper. Its rather for Xubuntu because of the blue color.
A propos..

I fixed the issue with the blurry text. Next Wallpapers are going to be crystal clear.
