I recently installed ubuntu on my computer using wubi, and installed wine so I can run programs I normally would run using windows. My question is, since I can reach my windows program files, and I installed these programs on windows, do I have to completely reinstall the programs onto ubuntu, or is there some way I can run programs that were installed through windows, on ubuntu.
Thanks for any help or tips:)
ps. I am very new to using ubuntu, which may be already obvious

You would be better off in many cases reinstalling the applications that you may want to use through WINE.
Be aware that not ever piece of ***dows software works properly or at all through WINE's API conversion, however progress is still continuing every day and WINE is updated roughly every two weeks to include these changes. ^_^
Be sure to check the WINE application database: http://appdb.winehq.org
To see how well your software titles run before installing them. :)
Best of luck,
