OK, so I have a bit of a potential problem with Wine. So far it's been pretty good to me, but next week I have a LAN party. My friends usually copy post-install versions of games to other people's computers so we don't have to go through the hassle of buying and installing a game we might only ever play once or twice. Thus I was wondering if this is doable with Wine: If I copy a Program Files\[Program Name] copy of a program on my computer, what problems might I encounter? I want to know if I should set up a dual-boot partition into Windows for LANs, but if I do, I should do it ahead of time since Windows takes such a long time to set up.
