Some background to why i need this....
A couple of friends and i have recently started our own business, and until now we've been working from one of their houses, but finally, we are moving into our first business premises!! :)
So anyway, at his house i have a pc running Ubuntu 7.04 acting as a fileserver and running the database i've written using MySQL and PHP. It simply serves a web interface that anyone on the network can use. So far so good :) I also use this as my day-to-day pc for now (space is tight) and he uses his own pc running XP.
When we move into the new office, i'm going to load up all the pc's with Ubuntu (they will both be new to it so i want it to be a smooth transition). So far i have managed to use Wine to run the proprietry Windows software we use to load data to the hardware we repair - infact it just worked straight away thank god!
But there is one more thing i need to do. Our courier (ParcelForce) uses an online collection booking system which requires you to run Windows, and a browser with the Adobe Acrobat plugin. I've installed IEs4Linux and using that, the website is happy with my OS, but i'm not sure how to go about installing the plugin since in Windows you would install Acrobat and it modifies IE, but i'm not sure how to do such a thing under Wine. Is there an easy way to do this? Or a better approach to use? (Other than installing Windows!)
Thanks for any help :D
