I'm new to Ubuntu/linux so please excuse my ignorance, After about 2 weeks of working on it i have finally gotten wine and WoW running graphics look good sound works greats but for a small stuttering when changing screens.the problem is that my mouse controls are slow and jerky, i've tried changing all my setting numerous times but it doesn't change also the graphics look great but seem a little hesitant, any help would be appreciated! btw i'm running on a 2.8 GHz pentium4 with a Nvidia Geforce 5500 video card.

Wine now has support for D3D hardware cursors. Try running WoW in D3D mode and enable HW cursor support. (A check box in the options)

If it is a grey box, either you have a Wine that is 6 months old, or you are running in OGL mode.

thanks for the help. It's the little things that seem the hardest sometimes. I got everything up and running great and then at some point today i lost sound, as i often turn the sound off so as not to disturb my family i can't even tell you when or what i was doing, at this point tho i'm just going to enjoy the fact that i can play agian and not worry about the sound.
thanks again
