My computer is setup with Kubuntu Feisty & we have two logitech dual action controllers & a ps2 controller plugged into a usb adapter hub & it has been working fine for the past two months or so. [have joystick & jscalibrator installed currently]
we have been using pcsx, zsnes, mupen, & no$gba through wine & the gamepads have worked well. today we decided to get fce ultra [through the repos] & it was working fine all day until we tried playing again a few hours later. in zsnes & fceultra the same thing kept happening, the "a" & "start" button would only press once & then not work again. to get it to work before every jump we had to press esc twice to bring up the emu menu & then close it to be able to press "a" again & jump. we tried reconfiguring, switching ports, unplugging, redownloading, & smashing them. but nothing seems to make the "a" or "start" button work. anyone have any ideas? the only thing that has changed at all was that we downloaded fceultra. we tried different roms [ones that previously worked] & none had correct input.
