OpenSSL Update

Hi All,

I am trying to upgrade my OpenSSL version to the latter 0.9.8g ( or any version after d) but I am having issues.

I do a apt-get update and then apt-get upgrade, and it tells me it is of the latest version . . when I know that cant be since it returns 0.9.8a. What do I need to do to get a package update to get to the latest release of the SSL version.

I am running Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 Dapper.

I have version 0.9.8e installed but I am running Gutsy. It seems you will have to either upgrade your version of Ubuntu or delete the installed version and download and compile the latest source from www.openssl.org
