I'd like some of you to test my theme and tell me how well it works in Ubuntu as I only run Debian Sid. XFCE users I'd welcome your input too. It's a modified version of the Gartoon Icon Theme so I know it won't be to everybody's taste but I would welcome some feedback. Thanks. http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/GNUtoon?content=70206

I installed it, and it seems to be just fine...its a little to cartoony for my tastes, but thats just me. From a functional standpoint, it seems fine so far...although its only been a few min, and I haven't taken a complete look at everything yet. I will post if I find any issues....good job though.

Thanks for your feedback. I made it for myself as the original doesn't work properly. Released it as some people still love Gartoon and were frustrated. Are you using GNOME or XFCE? Does the logout button show instead of the power icon? Or does Ubuntu stop other themes interfering with its power icons and dialog? Thanks. Oh and are most GNOME app icons looking cartoony? Not sure if Ubuntu changes many apps. Debian doesn't but Ubuntu seem to customise packages. Thanks.

I am using Gnome, and yes it does change the logout/power icon, along with most everything else.

Interesting. That big power dialog still pops up with all the glossy icons when you click the logout button right? I think they name them like 'gnome-session-lock-screen' to stop my 'gnome-lock-screen' interfering. Which is good. Is that right according to what you see? Thanks.

That's good. Some people don't like that big power dialog. Can be disabled though in gconf-editor. All I need now is someone using XFCE to test it out. Should work okay but no one has said. If anyone uses XFCE and wants to check my theme out, let me know how it goes. Thanks.

I've posted another update for this theme at gnome-look.org. Added some new icons and corrected the specs of others.
If you want to see the power icon instead of the logout one you will need to move gnome-shutdown.svg to gnome-logout.svg.
Feedback welcome.

It's an updated version of Gartoon with updated specs, new icons etc. Gartoon dates from 2003/4.

I'd really like some feedback on the exit dialog icons I added. Do they all show okay? If someone can send me a screenshot I'd be grateful.

Made another update to my theme today.
Exit dialog icons all show correctly now and made some minor corrections. Also made an icon for startup manager and changed the suspend icon.
Gnome and alacarte are a bit buggy lately so some icons won't show in menus.

Edubuntu want to use my theme for their distro! Sweet :)
They kind of do already though, Gartoon. It's outdated however, that's why I made my own version.
