Hi,
I am hoping to set up two vmware images and have them run but I am not sure if what I want to do is possible.
I would like to set up on of the images as a proxy for my internal network, running squid (or whatever if anyone has any better suggestions). This image could be Ubuntu or I would really like to use FreeBSD (I have an internal web/file/etc server running Gentoo that I am converting to Ubuntu and would like to broaden my horizons).
I would also like to set up an external web & FTP server using OpenSolaris (again, broadening my horizons). Is it possible to set up in VMWare to have one act as a proxy to the internal network and the other be an external box? The underlying OS would be Ubuntu Server running VMWare.
Thanks for your help.
