64 bit vs 32 bit?

What or where can I find some info on advantages or dis-advantages. I have a 3.0GHz Pentium D processor and wanted to get some opinions on the 64 bit version of 7.10. My main reason was I just installed 4 GB Ram but the 32 bit only reports 3.5GB.

It's a very good guide, with lots of helpful links. Can't say I've had any regrets going 64 bit - but then I'm new to Ubuntu and never ran the 32 bit version.

Ive never tried 32 bit either, but i have never had any trouble with 64 bit, and other than my USBuntu (as i call it :p) i wouldnt consider going 32 bit
