most compatible harware for compiz?

im looking into buying an elcheapo notebook, and im going to want to have compiz enabled by default. no gaming there.

i was wondering whats the most compatible harware video wise and wireless wise for linux and compiz.

i was thinking on getting something with an intel video on board, i just dont know what.

or is nvidia with its restricted drivers better?

on the wireless ground, im just clueless. any ideas?
