I have been working with Ubuntu Linux and LTSP for about a year now. And it has been challenging. It seems difficult to find comprehensive and up to date documentation for LTSP. And as time goes by- I find I need more information.

Is there any training offered in LTSP in the United States? I need information on customizing LTSP to work with certain recalcitrant hardware (Example- Compaq Presario V6210US, anyone...anyone?), and just general tips on improving performance and the overall user experience.

I'm like 85% there, but I need help with that last 15%

The only thing I know of that is even close to what you are asking about is referenced here:
http://www.ubuntu.com/news/ubuntucert

Unfortunately it doesn't look like that's going to be up and running for another several months and even then it's questionable exactly how much of the material will focus on LTSP issues. What are the Compaq's doing? Are you trying to use them as thin clients or servers? I blog about my own experiences with LTSP at the school I work for but looking over your posts it seems like you are ahead of me in expertise. I'd say I'm only about 50% there. Good luck -joe
