Maybe he'll switch to a more secure platform for his home computing now, or at least switch to Firefox.
..but really I feel sorry for him. If he's trying to pick up some chick at a pub and she asks what he's working with."I'm Microsoft's security chief here in UK" is like saying he's working as health expert at a tobacco company. The whole damn pub is gonna be laughing.
"I'm so perturbed about the whole area of rogue diallers… If we don't make a concerted effort to make the Internet more secure, it will be a very different place in the future," Gibson told the conference.
I don't understand how he thinks. "make the internet more secure"... Is he going to install an anti virus program on 'the internet' or put a firewall around 'the internet'? ...To prevent viruses from infecting 'the internet' and to prevent people from hacking 'the internet'?

What he meant to say:
"I'm so perturbed about the whole area of rogue diallers… If we don't make a concerted effort to make the Internet more secure, it will be a very different place in the future when MS no longer dominates because we can't make a secure product. Its easier to blame the internet!" Gibson told the conference.
