Hi all. I have looked but cant seem to find what I need re passing parameters to WINE. Heres the situation:

Our company has an ERP program called SWORDS. In windows, to launch it i pass it two or more parameters. eg "SWORDS:1234 SWORDS TEST"

I have tried escaping the characters but any which way I do it, SWORDS comes back with "SOCKET FAILED ERROR"

1) Does anyone have a suggestion to try and get this running?
2) Even better, does anyone USE this application, SWORDS under WINE?
3) Does anyone know of a reason for a SOCKET error?

Many thanks in advance

I haven't tried passing parameters before, but have you tried putting quotes around everything?

Thanks for the quick response!

Marking as solved. hasn't been really. I have had to use SeamlessRDP and rDesktop instead.
