View Full Version : Problem with openGL Direct rendering.

Hello,I need help with my nvidia video card on Ubuntu.I had my video driver working on gutsy flawlessly a few days ago but now cedega does not think I have openGL direct rendering. I don't really care what cedega's test say as they have proved inaccurate in the past but none of my games work under cedega. Well mostly some older 3d games do and surprisingly call of duty does,but games like grand theft auto and knights of the old republic are totally broken. Anyway I reinstalled my video driver and edited my xorg.conf several times with no luck. I am not sure what information helps but here are some things I have tried:

I am using a Geforce 6800 gs (I know its not the best video card) and I am completely at a loss of what to do..........If anybody needs any more information let me know and I'll post it. Also is this really a problem with my video driver or a problem with cedega?

oh blast......Sorry I found my problem after posting this,it was a llibGL.so file in my libs32 folder.I had the file there trying to get eduke to work.After deleting the file all of cedega's test worked..

Some one can delete this if they find it useless.
