I am trying to find a post processing solution that would download from an HDV camera (JVC-GRHD1) through firewire, transcode down to DVD quality, and author a DVD image, unattended.
I video HS basketball games and want to be able to plug in the camera at night and burn a dvd in the morning to give to the coach. no menus, no editing.
a plus would be to archive the .m2t hd and/or the dvd quality mpeg files into network storage but I archive the tapes anyway.
