Does anyone know how I would install older games? I have been using wine for world of warcraft but I want to be able to play things like Baldur's Gate and Baldurs gate 2 plus the expansion pack. And Icewind Dale and Icewind Dale 2.

Check out the application database for wine at http://appdb.winehq.org/. Hopefully the games you have mentioned will be there with a platinum rating.

Edit: nille beat me to it.

I just got BG2 on linux an odd way.
I had it installed on my Windows partition( complete with add-on modules and no-cd crack), and I just copied the whole Black Isle folder into the wine/Program files location on the Linux partition.
But I can only get it to run in the Wine window, so I need to get used to using the arrow keys to move the screen around. ( putting the cursor at the edge of the window is distracting and tedious)
