Compiz on Debian?

I tried downloading the Compiz package, but when I execute it it gives me this error:

Did you add the "Extensions" section to your /etc/X11/xorg.conf?

Open it with a text editor and add the following lines at the end of it:

Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "enable"
EndSection

In case this helps, here I attach my xorg.conf. You can borrow some parts of it, but be careful not to mess with the "Driver" line (in the "Device" section) or the "Monitor" section of your xorg.conf (if you set a bad vertical or horizontal refresh rate, you could end with a broken monitor).

Oh, and by the way, if you start compiz and get windows without borders (as it happened to me), you might want to take a look at this (http://bgoglin.livejournal.com/11253.html).
