supreme commander sound fix?

Is there a way to run Supreme Commander on WINE and get the sound to work? As of yet I haven't seen anyone able to run sound on SupComm with WINE.

I believe there used to be a fix but it no longer works (at least it didn't work for me at the time I tried it). Which is sad. The fact that video playback is slow and sound is disabled are the only things that don't work in this game.
