CSS Crashes win Wine.

Hi!

I have installed Steam, CSS, and HL2 with Wine. No problems during any of the installations. Steam runs perfectly but when I try launching a game with it Steam.exe (main exception) : Win32 StructuredException at 7BF9AC65: Attempt to read from virtual address 0 without appropriate access rights. Then it just crashes steam and that's it. I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon and the newest version of Wine. Need help with this in order to get CSS running. Thanks!

I think that is relelated to the Steam registry release problem. It happens when Steam is not exited out of cleanly. To correct it, all you should need to do is start Steam, let it load, then close out of it cleanly (use the File > Exit option in the Steam browser). Once you have a clean exit, then you can re start Steam and try running the game again.

No man, that didn't help at all. It's still crashing every time I try to launch Counter Strike Source or Half Life 2, or any other games on Steam.
