global menu problems

hello

i installed the global menu hack that i found at: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/global_menu
i followed the instructions and installed it,but, now i want to deinstall it, and that gives me much trouble... first i tried to deinstall the packages that came with it, that didnt work. then i tried to reinstall gtk, but that wasn't such a good idea, because when i wanted to do that i had to reinstall the ubuntu-desktop...

so, is there a simple way to deinstall this hack?

i have the same problem! it's so annoying, and i want it gone

i think the only way to solve this is to wait if theres going to be a gtk update and hope it will be gone then :P :(

There is a very simple solution.


restart press F12 boot from cd install gnome


don't forget to format your drive
