Making SAMBA portable?

Quick question... how would one make SAMBA portable if it's possible?

Example... my home network is setup for the workgroup... workgroup... and I go to a LAN party... would I just make all the people change there workgroup or how would that work?

People on the LAN can connect to your SAMBA server no matter what workgroup you or they are in,
