Please pardon my noob-ness. I'm really trying here......
I wanted to setup a video & audio streaming server with a small footprint (ftp/ssh/web administration at the most) & after looking around it appeared that Jinzora might be the answer. I installed 6.06 server with the LAMP menu option following most of these directions (http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_ubuntu_6.06) (minus the mail & dns) along with a few suggestions from here (http://rubbervir.us/projects/ubuntu_media_server/part2.html) (minus the samba) & various forum pages as well.
The problem I'm having is that when I click the "jinzora2 folder in IE & Firefox it tries to "save" instead of going into the folder. Am I correct in guessing this may have something to do with the way Apache handles PHP ? I've gotten as far as extraction & moving the folder to /var/www but that's as far as I can go. Does anyone know of a better guide or maybe some tips for me to look at ? I'm very frustrated about this. Thanks.......
