I am using XFCE right now, and my system supports 1900x1200 (which, before someone asks, what what I had under Gnome).

But the XFCE settings display plugin will only go to 1600x1200...

When I log in I can see the XFCE session selector staring with a smaller image, and almost immediately being auto-resized -- so I know that at least initially it did start with something larger than 1600x1200.

Answers, and links are welcome.

TIA

Ah well.. Ended up I got hit by myself.

All one needs to do to get the default X resolution is... select default in the XFCE Display plugin... I got way too smart, and selected something else :(

So this is solved.
