I managed to get Highway to the Reich running, and running exceedingly well too!

Yup. Morrowind works fine too if you are into that sort of thing.
So does Newsbin which impressed me no end.

Sorry for not knowing, but do either of these games use DirectX 9?

Dunno but I think World of Warcraft does and that works like a charm.

I checked the specs on HTTR, it uses DrectX8.

TransGaming definitely needs to bump up support to XP also. Most of my games don't work worth the proverbial, but HTTR works great.
