Hi,
I have a 80 gb hard disk, currently ubuntu is occupying the entire disk, I now want to install some windows os along with ubuntu for doing windows specific things. For installing this i need a seperate partition . i don't know how to get some of the free space from ubuntu file system and creeate a new parition . Please help me regarding this.

i tried with evmsgui but i did not know what to do, i have selected one volume and clicked on shrink but it opened a dialogue box no options are there inside it to select or check.

I also have another problem , i am not able to play vcd's in ubuntu either with Mplayer or Totem player or Xine. VLC is also not playing but it starts after 5 minutes after i click on play vcd. But the display and voice is not proper. same with gxine. Please suggest me a solution regarding this.

thanks,
tejaswi .
