Different Cube Protocol

Whenever I start up cube and go to the multiplayer option and choose update master server list, it will find all the servers, but it says different cube protocol next to it. I'm unable to connect or ever see anyone else.

I have tried both the newest version and the second newest version.

Anyone know what is going on?

Ive noted the same problem. im not sure if this is related to the issue with Cube 2 , now called suarenten(sp?) being the primary game in town or not.

I did some searching on the cube forums and such and it turns out the devloper hasn't updated the master server list. I'm not sure when he plans on doing it but hopefully soon.

Luckily, for the time being you can download the 2004 cube version and run that version and you will be able to connect through the master server list using that older version.
