Limited number of channels

Recently my MythTV box has only been tuning channels 3-13 and i'm not sure why. The listings will list all my channels but if i want to watch channel 30 or 50 or 42 or anything other than 3-13 it will give me nothing but static.

I hook up a normal tv to the cable connection that is going into the back of the Mythv box and it works perfectly. What am i doing wrong?

You probably have your lineup set to us-bcast instead of us-cable. There are a couple places this setting is in mythtv-setup. One is in General and the other is either where you define listing Sources or where you connect sources to devices.
