I set up a mythbuntu system with a PCTV PRO and a soundblaster live 5.1 card. Good picture and all other things seem to work, except for sound with tv tuner.
I can get sound if I plug directly to sound card but the sync is off and can't record sound.
I will not be watching live tv just recording and wathing later like a DVR.
I've tried many combo's of settings. Does anyone know the proper settings for these cards to use the digital sound output and be able to record the sound.
