Hello!
Does there exist any Linux software specifically designed to produce multimedia documentary CD's and DVD's?
I am looking for a product which would enable me to put together in an organised and coherent way video files, audio files, photos and text and enable the user to navigate around the contents easily. (To be more concrete, I want to produce a CD / DVD for each of our children recounting their first 21 years of life.)
If no specific software exists, one solution I thought of would be to use software designed to create websites. I would simply publish the end result on a CD or DVD instead of on the Web.
Or would Wiki software be a more up-to-date solution?
Thank you very much for your suggestions!
PS The distinction between this forum and the other on "multimedia production" is not clear to me, so I am going to publish this post on the other forum too, unless the moderators decide otherwise.
