Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this type of question but I need help. I got wine for Ubuntu 7.10 and it works fine installing programs EXCEPT when they come on a cd. I want to install starcraft but I put in the cd and open the INSTALL.EXE with wine but it dosn't do anything :(. All sugestions are appreciated but I am a total linux noob so try and keep it simple (ie step-by-step) Thanks in advance.

is there an autorun.exe or something similar on the cd? that is what should run.
also, in wine-config, try setting the drives to auto detect

I tried both setup.exe and install.exe on the cd: neither worked. Then I tried opening autorun with wine and just running it:neither worked. Is there a setting in wine I need to change???
