View Full Version : Desktop cube and toolbar help...

Hey guys....been working a couple of days around the desktop cube...there's one thing i cannot find out: my cube is the size of the screen and i can only seen it rotating around: ow can i see the entire cube?? like this:

Also where can i get an application launcher toolbar like the one in the next screenshot?

under ccsm/rotate cube/zoom
the second one i think is called tile in the window management of ccsm
but it is not installed by default

thanks for replying...regarding the first thing: what are the actual KEYS you use to make the cube stand in the middle of my screen? i keep reading the spacebar but it's not doing the job!

under ccsm viewport switcher you can use mouse or if you want keyboard ctrl+alt+left or right arrows
under viewport settings actions put for move next Button5 move previous Button4 initiate Button2

that tool bar is called Avant Window Navigator, you can get it by visiting their website here:http://awn.wetpaint.com/?t=anon

i don't use a mouse....and when i use the ctrl+alt+ ARROWS the cube changes face and comes back right away with the next face....not standing in the middle...

there is no way to make what you are saying in gnome i think (i could be wrong)
i know in kde the mouse grabs screen and what you say is possible but i use gnome
ill give it a go to see if i can and tell you the answer

ok i got it just goto actions tab on rotate cube click on the one that says initiate under the key you will see new accelerator then choose your keyboard preference
