Sauerbraten, no mouse - Cube 2

Hi, I tried running sauerbraten for the first time today. For the first few seconds I thought that it wouldn't work cause the screen did some weird things before eventually arriving into a "normal" or acceptable state.

I can see the game running and move around with the keys but the mouse isn't responding. I can't really access the in-game menu. I tried re-installing the game (first from the default ubuntu package manager and then from adept manager). So far I haven't been able to solve the problem.

I get exactly the same effect. I also get exactly the same effect with Tremulous. Not sure how to help though

I have same problem with mouse but i check no visual efects in /Sistem/Preferences and it's fixed.
