Hi all.

I've recently installed Railroad Tycoon II Gold Edition for Linux in Ubuntu but I can't install the corresponding patches (copied from: http://mirrors.sunsite.dk/lokigames/patches/rt2/).

When I try to install the first one, I get the following error message:

(sh rt2-1.54a-x86.run)

"Uncompressing Railroad Tycoon II 1.54a upgradetrap: usage: trap [-lp] [arg signal_spec ...]"

Does anyone here knows why this is happening or what the error message is about?

Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure what you mean, but in http://mirrors.sunsite.dk/lokigames/patches/rt2/README_1.54b it says, like for the first patch, "Just run the script by typing the following from the command line" and it adds that "It will prompt you for the installation path of the game"...

I've tried again copying the "rt2-1.54a-x86.run" file to RT2's directory and executing the patch there but it gives me the same error...

After so much time I'm not sure I want to play it anymore.

But if I do I'll give it a try.

Thanks corax.
