Hi. I don't know if this is the right place to discuss ask this but I think it is.

I'm trying to make a new distro (Ubuntu based) with E17 desktop manager, based on a topic here at the forum.

I want to know if it is possible to create a snapshot of the distro with an alternate CD installer of this snapshot.

Thanks ;)

gOS is also doing the same thing. But hey, if you want to do it, go for it! If you are willing to but the time and effert into making a new distro, then more power to you. I'm sure when the linux mint guy first said "I want to make an ubuntu distro with all the codecs already installed." People just said "We have automatix! No one will care." and now Mint is above ubuntu on distrowatch. ... just saying...

My point isn't doing a new distro for common users, I mean, I know what has been done, I know the people who are doing this project but I wanted to learn, so, either you answer to help or give links or you don't come to say "Ow, ******** this guy isn't gonna make it!".
