it seems to be a description of the controllable things, but not how to control them, or I just dont understand what theyre talking about. Im trying to map come of the buttons on my midi piano to the functions, not computer keyboard combonations

Yup it tells you how to control them; they're describing how to change all of these parameters by giving you the MIDI channel that the parameter is actively listening to.

If you're looking to get a specific set of buttons mapped to these parameters then I'd suggest consulting page 17 of Oxygen 61 user manual that I found here http://www.maudio.co.uk/index.php?do=support&tab=manuals&language=en

hmm.. im trying to follow those instructions and i dont know how to select the function in the zyn synth that I want the button to do. If I do it correctly, will the buttons and dials move on screen when I move them on the keyboard?

edit: sorry, I really need my hand held for this one
