No sound in UT2004

I just did a fresh install of Ubuntu 5.04 and I installed the graphic drivers for my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro using the guide provided on these forums (thanks for that). Afterwards, I installed UT2004, but I can't hear any sound ingame, not in the menus, not when playing.

The sound works fine in Ubuntu in general, just not in UT2004. I have a C-Media AC'97 CMI9739 onboard card. If anyone could please help me, I would appreciate very much,

Hi, for me it worked with:
padsp /home/myhomefolder/ut2004/ut2004

I'm running Ubuntu 10.10
