My desktop Ubuntu gust 7.10 screen saver is causing Tremuluos to crash, locking up my desktop. I have to use ctrl-alt f1 and sudo halt to restart my computer. I can only play 10 min with my screen saver on then my computer hangs. If i turn off my screen saver I can play as long as I like. The trouble is im not smart enough to remember to turn it back on. I don't have this problem with any other app or program. Is there a way to lower the priority of my screen saver so it wont come on when playing and so I wont have to shut it off?

Here the only solution I could find.

Disabling the screen-saver and using power Management to suspend display after 10 minutes works, note i needed to restart my computer for it to take effect.

Funny that KDE makes it so easy to set screen-saver priority and Gnome hasn't yet.
