I have been trying to get Diablo 1 to run on Wine for a while. I began thinking that maybe it was not Wine that was the problem maybe its the cd. I rebooted in XP to give it a shot there and after a little bit of trouble and patching it works... kinda. I can get the game to start, play the cinematic at the beginning and then it crashes. I figured I'd post here since maybe if I could figure out how to get it working on XP I can figure out how to do the same in Wine. Any suggestions, other than wise *** ones, would be greatly appreciated.
