Never heard of it. You're best off staying with official repos nearest you. That's a strength in Debian distros, knowing that what's in the repos has been tested and will work. If there's something you can't find, try Backports.

The site doesn"t even seem to be accessible anyway.

I've found out about the hoary-backports, and have added it to my sources.list.
