Well, to day I had about the "Golden Ratio" in class, and I just noticed that the Golden Spiral (built upon golden ratios) looks a lot like Debians icon. So, does the Debian icon represent beauty, stability and perfectionism? :KS

Found it: Logo history (http://web.archive.org/web/20000304190235/www.debian.org/News/1999/19990826).
Really no-one else who has though it's icon as the Golden Spiral (bet the designer had it in mind).

I've heard of the golden rectangle but never the golden spiral. Interesting concept though.
I find it funny thought that the Debian site hasn't changed much since 1999 :D
