Wammu

I tried syncing my Nokia 6680 using wammu but I failed, who amongst you got this working on a Nokia phone?

I can only retrieve phone info and nothing else. When i try to sync contact i get an error that says

Error Occured
Error while communicating with phone.

Description: Unknown error.
Function: GetNextMemory
Error Code: 27

i don't know if this makes any difference, but have you tried executing wammu under root?

tried executing under root, same error

tried gnokii but crashes when detecting phone, both user and root :(

hmm forgot how to use this already. Brings back memory when I built an eload/autoload vending machine several years back. A top guy from a known vending machine operator went over to my place to see if its working.hahahahh and so he did see it working. So....he imitated it. There is another company who also came over to see the prototype, they saw it working so the imitated it as well.

I created a batch file I believe to exactly that and it works. It is hard to get the program to recognize the phone though but ones it does, it is smooth sailing.

Anyway. Sorry about the OT. I was just reminiscing the past.
