I have fallen in love with the simplicity and power of Icewm. But, i guess a wallpaper will probably look a lot better than a brown screen. Is there anyway I can change the wallpaper?

PS: Mods, I guess this is the right place to post

Te quickest and easiest way to change the wallpaper in ICEWM is to right click on on a desktop icon and select backdrop then you can drag and drop your background image there.

That would be using icewm with rox-filer in pinboard mode.

Wow. No one ever told him how to do it. I wonder if he ever got it figured out? We need more people like aysiu giving people support for icewm problems in here.

still wonder if anyone ever resolved the logout problem?

... well anyway, speaking of spicing up icewm, here's my first attempt to see if I could modify a theme, and ... well, it's sloppy, the buttons I wanted but could never find in icewm themes are crooked as all get out (the green yellow and red buttons on the upper right hand corner of the windows), but it's late, and I don't feel like messing with it any more for now. Here's what I have done with icevista2:
