Wubi 7.10 and Kubuntu

I tried to install Kubuntu 7.10 using the latest alpha of Wubi 7.10, and afterwards it'll boot into Kubuntu just fine. However, the problem is that it seems like it didn't install like it does with Ubuntu because there is an Install icon on the desktop. I don't know if it's intended to work that way or if it's a bug with Wubi.

I tried installing it using the icon, but then it hangs at 20% when it scans for something after you choose your keyboard layout.

Do not select "read-only" installation from wubi

I have the same problem. Readonly is not selected, and I have selected the maximum space available on my partition (which is 20G, should be enough ... ). I also get the crash in keyboard layout.

I'm using Wubi 7.10 alpha rev386.

Known bug?
