hey every1
recently i installed gusty with compiz-fusion and xgl...the 3-d effects work quite ok.
but i installed also the anvant window navigator and there comes the first problem.
how you can see on the screenshot sometimes when i open for example the filemamager these crappy grey bars appear but disappear afer a few seconds...this is really disturbing and all in all avm is running pretty lame, and the stack applet doesn work...only a hite bar appears
so my question is: what did i wrong?has anybody the same problem?
btw: i'm running a amd 2200+ a ati radeon 9600 and 1gb ram...

another question is: how can i make thunar be my deafult filemanager?
i tried it by installing is with apt but then my system crashed.
last questions:
how can i "improve" thesystem at a whole or "speed-up" the bootprocess?
thanks for your answers!
and for everyone who says: ohh just look in the forum, there are 10000 threads: i spend my last 2 days with this;) but without a reasonable answer...
