Locked Post Needs Update

The post at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=477242 is a bit outdated, but locked so I can't update it. If the mods could note that the package for Gutsy 7.10 is available through the TrueCrypt website instead of from an unknown source as the first message recommends or by compiling as another post recommends, it would likely be to the benefit of the TrueCrypt using portion of the Ubuntu community. Thought you'd guys like to know.

My concern is that this method is outdated and doesn't reflect information that wasn't available when that post was created. When a search is done and that comes up like it did for me, it is misleading. I was hoping to save others having to run through a bunch of needless hoops if they did what I did.

Simply creating yet another TrueCrypt thread would not help this issue at all. I ended up finding the latest information buried in another thread about TrueCrypt, but it wasn't among the first to show up.

Thanks, I created a new thread under Tips & Tricks, but I guess it has to be approved before I can give you a link. It should be easy to spot though with TrueCrypt right in the title of it.
