Hi guys, i'm new to Ubuntu. I've been using windows for quite a long time , and i'm confused as to how to use the new OS. I have successfully installed Ubuntu 7.04 to my computer, and its working good. I need some updates though, and it has no internet connection. Is there some way i could download the update files and install them on ubuntu manually? Also, it would be great if i could find some downloadable manuals and tips on using and configuring ubuntu especially on installing softwares, networking with windows network, and customizing it so i could study it offline... It would be really helpful since i only go to cybercafes to download online files.. I hope you can help. Thanks very much in advance.

i'm downloading in a cybercafe with a windows platform and i need to download the codecs, take it to my computer and install it offline. also i am not familiar with the terms used as i've been using windows until now. a step by step detailed downloadable manual would really be great. also wondering if you could point me to where i can download the needed codecs, and drivers for 7.04 feisty. i'm using a usb stick to transfer files
