Peragro Tempus is a new mmorpg game under heavy development that promises a lot and has a native Linux client.
It now has a playable testing demo that you can test from the game server or from your computer (via local server).
The graphic and content are constantly improving and every few days they release a new test build !

To run the game with localhost (if the server is unavailable) simply Run script server.sh , then client.sh and enter localhost as address.

Their forums are not very active BUT their IRC channel is.
And if you can help developing their game please apply at the IRC channel, they can really use your help in every aspect of the game

Wire in the title of the thread "Linux gamers dream have come true ? almost..." and talk about some crappy game and you will get 190+ views.
But write about a good mmorpg game in development named Peragro Tempus and only 45 people will care.
I should have wrote :" A new mmorpg game in development !" and I would get about 2,000 views like I had in my other thread about "A new Linux sci-fi mmorpg under development !"

So mods please, can you change the title of this thread to :

"A great free Linux MMORPG game in heavy development !" ? ;)

It's not great yet, but I'm sure in 100% that it will be.

Well Maxim...I do care but upon having a look at the client I can't help the little voice in the back of my head saying "Not another MMORPG that looks much the same as Planescape, Regnum, MOM, etc. and will probably do what WOW and GW do but not as well."

It is cool to see games being developed but sometimes they all look like the same game. If I heard about a MMORPG that was going to be a lot different to all the other ones out there then I would be more excited.

Cheers for the links though. I will have a try of this game once it's playable in the hope that I'm wrong about it.

Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at /usr/bin/autoreconf line 182.
Can't exec "automake": No such file or directory at /usr/bin/autoreconf line 183.
