Hi!

I've installed mythbuntu on my existing ubuntu dektop, so it's a primary backend/frontend/regular destop machine. I have picture and sound, but the sound resounds. I've changed the settings of the audio sample rate (32000khz), because at other settings it not just echoed, but it was strangely high-pitched. Can someone help what should i do to get rid of he echo?

If you have a software encoder, you will need to mute either the capture or the line in. (I can't remember which). The reason for this is because you are hearing the live audio, along with the audio and video that is coming from the hard drive (yes, even with live tv)

If that is not your issue, then you should post the rest of your specs.
